The realm of geography and design has more adjuncts than any other. I
feel that within this sphere a person can lead a rewarding career
that directly affects people. Public policy, sustainability issues,
urban planning, environmental sciences, or the hundreds of other
related fields should not be seen as silos for technical expertise
but inter-related means towards common goals. The reward to those who
understand this is not just the end achievements, but the deeper
insights into the world gained through the process.
